About the Hilton-CIWA Theological Spiritual Formation

About the Hilton-CIWA Theological/Spiritual Formation

The Hilton-CIWA Theological Formation Programme for Women Religious is a vital initiative coordinated by the Catholic Institute of West Africa (CIWA) in partnership with the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, USA.

Our core mission is to provide profound spiritual and theological enrichment specifically for Women Religious across the West African region. We are dedicated to supporting the ongoing formation of Sisters who seek to deepen their understanding of faith and spirituality, thereby strengthening their vocation and apostolates..

Certification and Focus

Upon successful completion of the two semesters, participants will be awarded a Certificate in Theology/Spirituality. It is important to note that this programme is centered on spiritual and religious enrichment and does not award an academic degree or confer academic credit. The coursework does not qualify students for admission into any formal diploma or degree programme in theology, but successful completion will be fully documented and maintained by the Catholic Institute of West Africa (CIWA).
