This fully sponsored programme is a valuable opportunity for spiritual and theological growth. Please review the following mandatory requirements before submitting an application.
I. Eligibility Criteria
The course is open to Women Religious across the West African region who meet the following criteria:
Religious Status: The applicant must be a formally professed Religious Sister from an Institute operating within the West African region.
Institute Identification: While applications from individual Sisters are welcome, priority is given to Sisters who have been identified and permitted to apply by their Major Superiors or Secretariats General.
Time Commitment (Crucial): Applicants must be available to attend live, virtual classes for two to three hours daily, five days a week (Monday to Friday).
Exclusion: Sisters currently engaged in heavy apostolates, those already enrolled in full-time studies, or those whose location presents a wide, unmanageable time difference are advised against applying due to the rigorous daily attendance requirement.
Novices: Novices are eligible to apply and are not included in the two-slot limit per Institute (see section III).
II. Technical and Logistical Requirements
Since the programme is delivered entirely virtually, participants must ensure they have reliable access to the necessary technology and infrastructure for the full duration of the course:
Computer Access:
Mandatory access to a personal computer (desktop or laptop) equipped with a working webcam and microphone for interactive class participation.
Cellular Device:
Access to a cellular phone for supplementary communication and resource access.
Internet Connectivity:
Consistent and sufficient internet supply capable of sustaining live video calls and data transmission for the duration of the 3-hour daily class sessions (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM WAT).
Warning:
Residence in locations known for inadequate or unstable internet service will pose a significant challenge to successful participation.
III. Application and Selection Priority
The programme is highly competitive due to the limited, fully sponsored slots.
Institute Limit:
For this intake, our primary priority is to ensure wide participation by sharing the slots among the various Religious Institutes across West Africa pro rata. A limit of two chances per Religious Institute is currently set for professed Sisters (Novices are exempt from this limit).
Application Method:
All applications must be submitted by filling the dedicated application form on this website page.
